Frequently Asked Questions
Sheepskin Products
Are all your products the same?
Every item is subtly unique, as they’re crafted by hand to last a lifetime. Our super plush sheepskin has its own personal qualities per piece as well, with hints of charming character – just like your own living spaces.
Will my super plush sheepskin stay the same?
Like people, sheepskin gains character over time. For example, the fibres of the sheepskin will naturally want to come back together. Read this article to learn how to restore the fluffy appearance and natural ‘loft’ of the fibres. The colour will slowly change with time as well.
Are your sheepskin products vegan?
None of our sheepskin range is vegan. All of our sheepskins are a by-product of the food industry, sourced from countries with recognised animal welfare practices. We then use our expertise to transform the skin into a product that can be enjoyed for years to come. Our woollen products are made from merino wool and are shorn to ensure that no harm is done to the sheep.
Where are your products made?
All of our styles are designed from our office on the Gold Coast in Australia. The products are then handcrafted by carefully selected makers around the World. Our sheepskin products are made at our company-managed tannery in China. Because this is our own tannery, we are able to work closely with our team to ensure each Fibre piece is made to exacting standards.
How do I open my bean bag?
All beanbags are fitted with a safety zip. To open the bag and top up your beans, simply find a paperclip, loop it through the hole and open.
Washing and Care
How do I wash my super plush sheepskin design?
Small stains from kids and fur babies can be spot cleaned easily with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For a more thorough clean (and for the best results) we recommend dry-cleaning.
How do I wash my Merino Wool throw?
We recommend dry-cleaning only here. Think of it like an evening gown you want to last a long time. Take care of it and it will take care of you.
How do I care for my super plush sheepskin style?
Here are a few simple rules we like to follow:
Avoid direct sunlight. This stops UV damage or fading of darker shaded products. Shake rugs, cushions, and bean bags regularly. If it can handle a shake, liven it up! Dry vacuum rugs regularly (with a plain suction unit). Sort out spills and stains as quickly as possible. Remember not to rub, brush or massage wool skin products when they are damp or wet
